Sea Shells

Sorrow wading in a shell of a world
Mind take over swallowed by the sea
Someone asks, “Are you okay?”
Sifter picks a life for you
“I’m fine.”
Bagel down the hatchet
Process of process that processes
College, work, real life, complaints?
Pathetic. “I’m fine.”
Recess is established for everything
Bitching and moaning, moaning and bitching
In the end we pretend to bend
For the system its whatever is necessary
Family, health, friends, animals all can wait, so life can skate
Until the end is near, then you hold those things dear
Your life swallowed by the sea
By a world that is a shell
Oblivious to pace and strict to time
Harsh on all those enjoying theirs’
Won’t allow pleasure unless it’s a sacrifice
Kudos to those well off
While I’m near the soup kitchen sub-merged in broth
